Why did you choose to attend UE?

I chose to attend UE because of the close-knit community on campus. I felt like the faculty that I spoke to prior to making my college decision genuinely cared about my goals and the experience that I would have here.

What activities or organizations have you been involved with at UE?

Throughout my time here at UE, I have been involved in the Orientation Leader and Resident Assistant programs, the Black Student Union, and Embrace Marketing and Communications. Being involved has allowed me to make so many connections on campus and has elevated my college experience. 

How has your program shaped and prepared you for a future career?

I feel like the business school has given me the opportunity to apply what I am learning in the classroom to real life scenarios. This has helped build my confidence tremendously when it comes to my professionalism and job interviews. As a senior, I feel very secure in my ability to enter the job market. I have built an impressive résumé as a student because of the connections that I have made at UE.  

How has UE been affordable for you? How did scholarship opportunities/financial aid influence your decision to attend UE?

UE was an extremely affordable option for me which helped me finalize my decision to attend this school. Because I am a Fellows Scholar, my tuition is completely covered, and being a Resident Assistant has covered the cost of my housing. I feel very blessed to be leaving UE with little debt!  

Why do you recommend UE? What advice would you share with incoming students?

UE is a great place to make strong personal connections with your peers and professors. It is such a close-knit community and there are so many people here that genuinely want the best for you. My advice would be to step out of your comfort zone and come to this school with an open mind. Don’t be afraid to try new things or meet new people!
